The FD is a perfect foundation to build your bag around. Its versatility makes it the disc you’ll reach for again and again in all kinds of situations. Don’t let the speed rating fool you because the FD glides impressively far.

These Horizon C-line FD's are originated from the Mystery Box patch that was made for our Team Member Silas Schultz who went after the fabled 2nd run FD qualities and pretty much nailed it. These might have just a touch more dome and are slightly softer but the overall flight characteristics are quite similar, allowing the disc to keep pushing forward and not burn over when thrown with extra force.

If you are having trouble hitting the fairway with max speed drivers, take a step back, let the glide take you there, and the straight flight will place you in the middle of the fairway. The C-line version tends to settle on the more overstable end of the FD spectrum, meaning it can handle a lot of power while maintaining a straight flight path.
